Senior Research Associate - Hedge Fund Due Diligence

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Associate to be an integral member of the
Research Team with significant due-diligence responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting on-site and conference call due-diligence meetings with leading hedge
fund and managed-futures investment managers.
• Creating and executing quantitative analysis on investment managers and portfolios.
• Writing formal institutional-quality research reports relating to manager due diligence
and general alternative industry topics.
• Building new investment-manager relationships with existing industry network.
• Communicating with sales and marketing teams regarding processes and specific
investment topics.
• Contributing to ongoing departmental needs that incorporate teamwork with other
areas of the firm.
Requirements:
• At least three years of direct due-diligence experience with hedge fund and/or
managed futures investment managers.
• Knowledge of multiple alternative-investment strategies including the trading of financial
instruments.
• Broad knowledge of due diligence beyond investments, including operations,
compliance and business strategy.
• Hands-on quantitative abilities to review manager track-record performance and/or
portfolio holdings. Excel knowledge is essential.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Outstanding written and oral communications skills.
• Undergraduate degree mandatory and post-graduate degree preferred from a leading
university.
